As Volt Lines, Turkey's first and only smart employee shuttle and transportation company, we continue to work — inspired by Istanbul's traffic — to fill the empty seats on the road and to build a sustainable transportation network.
On our journey to fill the empty seats on the road and bring our carbon emissions to zero by 2030, we applied to TÜBİTAK 1507 to strengthen our technology muscle — and we were awarded the grant. Alongside our passenger app, driver app and HR Web Panel, the AI-powered application we will develop through this project will strengthen Volt Lines' technological infrastructure and let us expand our transportation network rapidly.
This AI-based smart transportation software — the first of its kind to be developed in Turkey, and built by Volt Lines — will analyse customer demand to identify new shuttle stops, delivering a sustainable and optimised transportation solution. This will let us reach the sustainability and zero-emission targets at the heart of the Volt Lines vision while maximising customer satisfaction. Another outcome of the project is that we will be able to keep operational costs under sustainable control. By offering our customers even more optimised routes, this software will increase their cost advantage, and Volt Lines' smart transportation technology will lead the digital transformation of the sector.
