Phase 3 is live: Volt Lines puts its first electric buses on the road with Siemens Türkiye
Today we started Phase 3 of our roadmap to the future of shared mobility. After Digitalisation and Optimisation, we are moving to Electrification, and our first electric buses are now carrying Siemens Türkiye employees on their daily commute.
We marked the launch at our Istanbul office with the partners who made it possible: Siemens, DenizBank ENBD, Koluman and Mercedes-Benz. Teams from across Volt Lines worked together on route design, charging planning, financing and operations to make this happen. This rollout shows what happens when a customer, a bank, a vehicle manufacturer, its distributor and a technology platform all commit to the same goal.
Why the commute comes first
At Yeo’s battery factory, our Founder and CEO Ali Halabi gave a keynote on the “invisible fleet”: the thousands of corporate shuttles that move employees every day without most people noticing them.
“Corporate shuttles are the ideal starting point for renewable energy in transport,” said Ali Halabi. “They run fixed routes on predictable schedules and return to the same depots every day. That makes charging plannable and the business case measurable. The commute market is where electrification works today, not in ten years.”
Our platform already plans every route from real demand data. That same data now tells us which lines can go electric first, where vehicles should charge, and what each customer saves in emissions per passenger.
This is only the start
Siemens Türkiye is the first site. Over the coming months, we will extend the rollout across more Siemens locations and bring electric buses to other customers who share the same goal.

Our mission has always been to make shared transport so good that people stop driving alone. Electrification takes that one step further: every full electric bus means fewer cars on the road, and fewer emissions from the vehicle itself. The corporate commute is one of the most practical places to start, and the experience we gain on each new line makes the next one easier to deliver.

We see this as a shared effort. Each company that electrifies its commute helps build the routes, charging networks and financing models that make the transition easier for everyone who follows.
If you are thinking about how your company’s commute fits into your sustainability goals, our team is happy to talk. We can look at your current routes together and see where electrification makes sense for your sites.
