What Is the TUHİM Road Permit? What Is the TUHİM Route Permit?

Also known as the İBB Road Permit, the TUHİM road permit is a Route Permit that those carrying out school and employee shuttle transportation are obliged to obtain. In the past, drivers providing employee shuttle services in Istanbul had to apply to TUHİM in person. However, following an update made by İBB to make the process sustainable and straightforward, TUHİM road permit applications are now made through e-tuhim .

1. Log in to the TUHİM Online Applications page with the username and password you have obtained.
2. On the screen that appears after logging in, click the Shuttle Route Applications button.
3. Tick the option that applies to the shuttle service you wish to provide.
4. Vehicle details, Driver details, Escort Personnel details, Carried and Carrier Company details, Route details, the people who will collect the permit, and the Permit Receipt details — fill in these fields to complete the step.
5. Upload the required documents to the system.
6. Complete the process by clicking the Submit Application button.

How Do You Book an Appointment with e-TUHİM?

How Do You Change a Plate at TUHİM?

Under the decision taken by UKOME, the use of L plates became mandatory as of 1 January 2019 on vehicles that will provide shuttle transportation services.

To change a plate at TUHİM you need to use the İBB TUHİM website.
